HMS Repulse was a renown-class Battlecruiser of the Royal Navy launched January 1916. 32 220 ton, 228m long, Sank during Japanese Air attack off Malaya Dec 10 1941. She was straddled by two 500lb bombs then hit by a third which penetrated through the hangar to explode on the armoured deck below. Repulse was then caught by a synchronised pincer attack by 17 Mitsubishi G4M torpedo bombers and hit by four or five torpedoes in rapid succession causing her to sink.
